If you’re involved in conservation action in the Overberg, you can apply now for ABI Small Grants funding.
The ABI Small Grants Fund supports registered organisations operating in the Overberg region. The funding is provided by the Table Mountain Fund (an associated Trust of WWF-South Africa). It aims to support community-based projects with conservation outcomes.
Already 13 projects have received support of up to R20,000 each since the launch of the facility in 2014. The projects all link to one or more of ABI’s themes: integrated land-use planning; responsible tourism; environmental education and transitioning to a Green Economy.
The ABI Small Grants Fund also works to encourage greater municipal involvement in conservation.
The deadline for the new call is 19 February 2016.
